Hi, I am Amy, a green-eyed DSH black/white female.  I am a healthy, declawed, 7-year-old.  I am a happy, content and loving sweetheart.  I am very active and playful.   I really appreciate kindness and a gentle touch.  I want a home of my own but do not know how to tell you.  I have been overlooked during adoptions because I am a little shy and feisty when I am in a cage at PetSmart -- I do not make a good first impression.  Once I get to know you I am a joy to be around.  Let me put a smile on your face and brighten your day.

My story . . . my guardian relinquished me because her apartment complex did not allow pets and the landlord said "I had to go".  My future was uncertain until a volunteer rescued me from a local shelter.  She knew I was special and the shelter gave me only 4 days to find a new home. I have never had anyone who just loved and cared for me.  You would never know my circumstances by my very gentle and loving demeanor.  I am ready for my loving, fur-ever home.  I will thrive in a home where I am the only cat or with another passive cat.  I am also good with dogs.
