I am Etsy, a dashing 5-year-old purebred Persian male.  I am small, weigh 6-7 pounds, and have big, unforgettable golden eyes.   My coat is very silky which is much better for regular brushing.  My foster mom believes that with a lot of time and attention my personality will blossom and I might show a playful side.  I am a healthy cat -- I had a recent full vet check up with Dr. Kendra at The Cat Doctor.  Some people shy away from me because I am a little shy at first.  I am a pretty well adjusted cat, just takes a bit for me to get used to new surroundings and people.  I can easily be picked up and groomed.  

My story  . . . My mom adopted me 5 years ago from a breeder.  She returned me to the breeder because mom had a new fiance and no longer had time for me.  I am looking for a quiet home where there are no small children.  With a slow introduction, I am good with another mellow cat or the only cat.  The person who adopts me must have previous experience caring for Persians.
