I am a long haired Calico beauty.  I had a vet wellness check on 8/18/2016.  The vet said I am a healthy 8-9 year-old cat who needs dental work.   The vet felt that all my teeth needed to be removed.  I am recovering.  I will be available for adoption mid/late Sept as I need to recover completely from the dental work I had done week of 8/22/2016.   
 
The woman who rescued me said I am an exceptionally sweet cat.  I put my head between her hands and I am a purring machine.  When Tatiana's back is scratched, she puts her butt up in the air.  She did the same thing at the shelter.

My story . . . I was rescued from a local shelter.  I want a home of my own but do not know how to tell you.  I am unsettled by all the recent changes in my life -- I moved from the shelter after living there for 1 month into a multi-cat foster home.  I was overlooked because of my age.  I am shy and nervous at first -- I just need a little time to trust new people.

I will thrive in a quiet home with a very understanding, cat savvy person to love me.  Someone special who will be patient and give me the time I need to feel comfortable in a new home.  Kids must be teenagers and older.

I am hoping you will give me a second chance -- Adopt me -- Love me just the way I am.
