I am so adorable.  Meet me Sat, noon-2:30 p.m., at Petsmart/Ventura. 

I am a very sweet, long hair Brown Tabby/White Persian with a laid back temperament.  I am a typical Persian who just wants nothing more than to be connected with my human(s).  When I am in the mood, I love to sit and relax on my foster parents' laps.  I recently started sleeping with mom and her two cats I enjoy having my cheeks and chin scratched and begin to purr.  I do not make much noise and spend most of my time napping in the coziest cat bed I can find.  I am a healthy, 8-9 year-old with no teeth, but that does not stop me from eating dry food (I'm not picky).  I have a silky coat, which requires frequent brushing, and I am easy to comb out.  When someone spends time with me, I open up and I become a purring machine, especially when they walk around carrying me for a while.  I am a little guy, about 8 lbs on a good day, but I have a big, sweet personality. 

My story . . . My family relinquished me to a Colorado shelter where my teeth were removed and then I moved to a shelter in California.  I was overlooked at the shelters because of my age, my shyness and there were so many cats in need of homes.  I had surgery on my nose after my rescue which corrected the problems I and other Persians have breathing.  Persian cats require frequent brushing, and a lot of time and attention.  The person who adopts me must be very cat savvy and be willing to take care of my needs (face and ear cleanings and brushing).  I warm up quickly if you give me a little TLC. 

I want a loving, forever home of my own.  I will thrive in a quiet home with other cats I can hang out with and someone special who will who will appreciate my good qualities.  Kids must be teenagers and older.
