I am Malik, a fun loving Red Tabby.  I am affectionate, curious and intelligent.  I am a rough-and-tumble big boy who likes to play tag and roll around with the other cats.  I enjoy playing with feather toys and chasing balls, especially when they are in the bath tub.  When the playing is over, I am a lap cat who enjoys a lot of quiet time with my people and snuggling with my nose pressed against your neck while you sleep.  I will talk to you, keep you company and cheer you up.  I taught myself how to open cabinet drawers.  Life with Malik will never be dull.  It will be filled with love and laughter. 

My story . . . my military mom and her 9-year-old son moved to another state and left me behind.  I am looking for a family who will cherish me for a lifetime -- kids must be 10 years and older.  I will thrive in a home where I am with another active cat.
