I am Ethan, 2-year-old Brown Tabby.  I am a happy, intelligent, curious and playful character.  I will immediately investigate anything new that comes into the house. I love, love people, playing with other cats, treats and being brushed. I enjoy playing with anything that moves.  I especially enjoy playing with straws and ties from plastic bags.  I have been known to steal them -- do not be surprised if you find them missing. When I hear you walk in the door, I will roll on my back, look at you upside down and wait for a tummy rub. I will not move -- I am confident that you will step over me. I enjoy laying with and sharing the couch or bed with my people and other cats. 

My story . . . mom lived in a local trailer park where cats were taken to a kill shelter and never seen again.  I and my siblings Nathan and Kira were rescued.  I have become the mother hen who looks after the new kittens who come into my home. 

I am shy around new people and new situations.  I am looking for a quiet, indoor home and someone who will love me, shyness and all.
