Hi, I am Ziggy, a beautiful Brown Tabby with an adorable round face.  I am an independent, playful young adult who enjoys chasing a feather toy.  I really appreciate kindness and a gentle touch even though I am a little feisty when I want to be alone.  I want a home of my own but do not know how to tell you.  I have been overlooked during adoptions because I am nervous and feisty at first, and do not make a good first impression.  My forever mom or dad must be patient, compassionate and give me the time I need to feel comfortable in my new home.   

My story . . . I was an abandoned family pet who was roaming the streets in Ventura when rescued.  I may have been abused as I am a little timid and stiffen up when you first pet me.  Recently, I surprised my foster mom when I jumped into her lap and settled in for a short nap.  I need a little help building up my confidence.  Vet wellness check - Mar 22, 2014.

I will thrive in a quiet home with someone special who understands me and where there are no other female cats.  I recently started chasing the female cats in my foster home.  Kids must be 13 years and older.  I am good with passive senior and young adult male cats with a slow introduction.  My bff Jamie is also available for adoption.
