A big, beautiful girl, Kiera is an 8-year-old long-haired Tortie.  She is friendly, curious and thinks she is a princess.  She enjoys playing with cat toys and interacting with some of the cats in her foster home.  She has become more outgoing since moving into the PetSmart adoption center.  She looks out her window when something catches her eye, greets everyone and has surprised a few by jumping into their lap.  She is definitely a house cat at heart.  She wants a home of her own but does not know how to tell you.  She is overlooked during adoptions because of her age and she is a little shy at first to make a strong impression.  Her forever mom must be patient, compassionate and give her the time she needs to feel comfortable in her new home.   

When rescued, she was an indoor/outdoor cat.  Her guardian was a hoarder who lost her home.  Kiera was dumped on the street.  Could you give Kiera the loving home she has sought all her life?

Kiera will thrive in a quiet, indoor-only home.  She enjoys being with her foster mom and loves being an indoor kitty, no more roaming the neighborhood for her.  She will do well as the only cat, and will also do well sharing a home with 1-2 passive cats.   She does not like dogs and will do best in a home where there are no inside dogs.
