Give thanks this season -- adopt a rescued cat. 

I am a beautiful and healthy 8-year-old female.  I am looking for a quiet home and a very understanding, cat savvy person to love me.     

My story . . . I lived with my dad all my life until he found a new girlfriend.  She did not like little ones like me so I was relinquished to a shelter.  I think it worked out better for me anyway. 

I am much more confident now and am learning to trust.  I love to explore and really- really like to play.  I cuddle with my foster mom at night and put my head in her hand so she can love me.  When I am running around the house playing, I always stop to see her so she can pet me and I know I am loved.

I am well-mannered with my litter box and am not fussy about meals.  I need time and patience to appreciate that someone can truly love me.  I am good with older kids who will be patient with me.  I have learned to live with another cat in my foster home -- I prefer a home where there are no other cats as I like to be the only kitty in the house. 

I  tolerate living with other pets but certainly it is not my first choice.  I will thrive in an environment with someone who is cat savvy and understands I love attention but can be temperamental if the situation is not my choice.  Although I love to play and cuddle, I do have a threshold and I will ensure you understand my threshold.

I am ready and really want to be a loving, furrever companion.
