I am sweet Dakota, a medium hair Dilute Calico cutie.  My fur is the softest around and my gray tail is beautiful and bushy.  I love being brushed.  I am a beauty from North Dakota who was rescued as a kitten from a construction site. 

I am very curious about my surroundings and like to explore.  I have a great time running through my foster home and playing with the other cats.  I am outgoing, very friendly and loaded with personality.  I am a lap cat who will sit with you while you work at your computer or watch TV.  I enjoy snuggling with my foster parents for naps and love a good belly rub or two.  I have a cute little voice that I only use when I want to be petted or just want to say hello.  My favorite toys are a string on a stick and fast moving kitty ball. 

I will thrive in a home with other active cats and no dogs.  I am afraid of dog, regardless of their size.  My foster family has a tuxedo cat who is my buddy, we chirp at each other and play hide-and-go-seek.  I am looking for a family who will cherish and love me, and will provide an indoor only home.  I am good with other cats.  Kids must be preteens or older -- no young kids.
