Happy New Year!  Many thanks to all who adopted Greyfoot cats!

I am Gia, a large, blue-eyes, flame point Ragdoll.  I am gorgeous!  My tail is soft and bushy.  I am a head butting, love bug who has the typical flame point personality. My foster dad nicknamed me Apricot.  I am very shy at first want.  Once I get to know you I do not want you to stop petting and giving love and attention.  I will grab your arm if you try to leave.  I will nibble on your fingers and rub up against you.  

I am a healthy 6-7-year-old female -- recent vet wellness check.  Vet said my teeth looked good.  Some people shy away from me because of my age.  I was overweight when rescued, my foster mom controls how much I am fed.  I now weigh 13 pounds and vet feels that is a good weight for me.  I love dry food but do not drink enough water so I am fed a controlled amount of wet food only with water added -- it works like a charm.  I cannot eat dry food as I become constipated. 

My story . . . I was rescued from a shelter where I was extremely fearful -- I was an owner turn-in, just another unwanted adult cat.   I did not understand why I was there.  A cat lover rescued me with hopes of finding me a quiet and loving, forever home.  I must go to a quiet home where I will be the only cat and there are no kids.  My new family must feed me wet food only and must control the amount of food I eat to ensure I do not regain the weight I lost.

My wish for 2017 is a quiet home of my own with an understanding, cat savvy person to love me -- Adopt me -- Love me just the way I am!
